My favorite movie website, Rotten Tomatoes, has officially announced that Pixar’s Wall-E is, so far, the best reviewed movie of the year and has been certified fresh for it’s 96 % rating.

Of course, Los Angeles Film Critics recently choose Wall-E for Best Picture of the Year, with The Dark Knight as runner up.

It also wins The National Board Review Award and New York Film Critics Circle Awards for best Animated Category.

The list keeps going on and on…

For category for best family movie 2008, National Movie Awards (UK) has chosen Wall-E.

Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper are not forgetting Wall-E on their list too. To check Ebert list, just click here, and Roeper here.

It also has been nominated for two Golden Globe award, one of the category is best animated of the year.

In the meantime, I am just gonna keep my finger crossed for Wall-E and finished watching the two of three CD’s of my new Wall-E DVD. Isn’t that fun? ;)

UPDATE 12/16: Chicago Film Critics’ Association Awards just announced that Wall-E is one of the nominees for Best Picture category. Others nominees including The Dark Knight, Slumdog Millionaire, Milk and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
