Wah-wah! Here comes the sun.

the best movies of all time

Here are the list of the best movies ever made (from my point of view). The list from 1 to 10 were in order of which I like the best while the rest is equally as great as each other. Feel free to check it all the time, because I might change the list every once in a while.

1. Forest Gump
The best movie ever. It’s so perfect. The story, the character, the directing, the music, EVERYTHING! It was strange that when I first watched I never really liked it, but after I fell in love with Tom Hanks’s performance in Philadelphia, I decided to give this movie another try, and now it has become the top in my list for very long time.

2. Life Is Beautiful
It’s probably the saddest movie I’ve ever seen. But it’s not the kind of sadness that make you suicidal or something like that. I think it’ll make you appreciate life more. So, you’ll feel sad after you watch it, but it’s just for a while and then you’ll learn on how to live your life like there is no tomorrow.

3. Normal
I know it didn’t release in movie theatre. I wish they did, though. I bet It would at least nominated for Oscar. Tranamerica is nothing compare to this movie, Felicity Huffman is nothing compare to Tom Wilkinson (don’t get me wrong, I really like her performance). All the cast were great and I was just amazed by Tom Wilkinson and Jessica Lange (especially her). I even dare to say that move over Titanic, this is the best love story ever.

4.Cast Away
Many people hate this movie so much. They thought it was boring to watch Tom Hanks all alone in the island and talking to a volley ball. They was hoping that he would involve in some kind of crazy adventure. I’m glad that it didn’t happen though, then it would be so lame. That’s when I realize that Tom Hanks really one of a kind. He was just so amazing, even when he didn’t talk! Who would ever thought that seeing crying over lost valley ball will be so touched. Some people said they hate the ending because the fact he couldn’t reunite with his girlfriend. I thought that was make that movie even so close to reality. The director was so loyal to reality from the beginning so I’m glad that they didn’t ruin it with hollywood happy ending. Yes, it was sad to watch but so make sense.

5. Sleepless in Seattle
Hanks and Ryan means good chemistry. I have never really enjoy watching romantic comedy with any other actors. But those two were just so perfect to each other. Sleepless in Seattle has a very simple story, but not make it cheasy. It was simple in smart way. The dialoque are so perfect. I think they took a big risk for only make the two main characters almost never in same screen at all. We, the audience, knew that somehow they will ended up together, but it was still fun to watch the process.

6. You’ve Got Mail
Finally Hanks and Ryan are on the same screen together. The movie itself is like the modern version of Sleepless in Seattle, but since both actors were so perfect together, it was still fun to watch them. The great script surely one of the key why this movie was so enjoyable. It still have the same method as Sleepless in Seattle which is Smart and Simple at the same time. Hanks and Ryan also proof how good actors they are during the conversation in a cafe, where the two characters finally decide to meet for the first time. That’s my favorite scene ever from the two of them.

8. Music Box

9. Marvin’s Room

10.Rosemary’s Baby

11. Schindler’s List

12. Finding Nemo

13. Mullholland’s Drive

14. When a Man Loves a Woman
